Dear Future B’NicotineFree Participant:

Quitting smoking is one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done in my life. I definitely did not think it would be possible for me. Everyone has different ways to go about quitting. I quit cold-turkey but you should use whatever method works for you. Just make sure to watch the videos provided in class and do the assignments. The more I watched the videos and did assignments the more I realized how bad smoking is and the toll it is taking on my body. If I can quit I promise anyone can quit! I didn’t think it was possible for me, but I have been smoke free for a month now.

Warm Regards,

Satish Bhatia – DPW

Dear Future B’NicotineFree Participant:

This is no easy road! There will be several advantages of being a part of the BNicotine Free Class. The literature is great and the teacher has the knowledge to help you quit smoking. The setbacks will make you feel like sh** but the teacher will boost you up so well that you jump back into the requirement of quitting. Ultimately a great class to be a part of.

Warm Regards,

Dear Future B’NicotineFree Participant:

It is ok to be a quitter! It is ok to be a loser! In this case you are losing your best friend, cigarettes, however you will gain a new life! You will experience a new beginning, a new awareness, a new life, a feeling of accomplishment.

It is amazing how life looks different once you have made the choice to quit. Think about what you want to do. Think about what you have missed by taking a smoke break. Think about you and the gift that you’ve given yourself.

The road to happiness is never easy, so fight the fight. Fight a good fight. You deserve it.

Warm Regards,

J. Lofton – former city employee

Dear Future B’NicotineFree Participant:

You are starting on a journey that will change you. Whether you quit now or not you will change. It is not always an easy time, but you will learn things about yourself you didn’t know before.  You will meet people that you have never known before that will stay with you. Even if you never see them in person again, their words and action swill stay with you. You are going through the same situations together. You will help each other, although you may now know it at the time. Keep an open mind and try everything. Not all of it will work for you, but some will. Those that do will change you for the better.

Warm Regards,

Kevin Gallaher -P&D

Dear Future B’NicotineFree Participant:

Welcome to the first and most important step to being smoke free-you signed up! As someone who really wasn’t interested in quitting, I can honestly say, thanks to this class, Kaye, and the support of the other participants, I am on my way to being a non-smoker.

I know you’re probably thinking you know how smoking harms your body and why you smoke. I assure you, you will learn so much that will help y our decision to quit.

The encouragement, support and inspiration I get from my fellow participants is something amazing. So do it. What do you have to lose? Welcome to the new and improved you!

Warm Regards,

Dear Future Quitter:

This class will help you stop smoking. I smoked ½ to a full pack a day for 30 years. The help you receive, and the classwork and homework given will definitely help you stop. Do your work and keep an open mind. Kaye is a great coach and knows what she is talking about. You have to want to quit. Doing this quitting thing this time is a lot easier than doing it on your own. Watch the videos, they are eye opening. Good luck and remember you ultimately decide to smoke or not to smoke. It’s all on you to do your best.

Warm Regards,

Alvin C.  COB Employee

Dear Future Quitter:

You are on Your Way! I honestly did not think I’d make it this far, yet I have! Trust Kaye Love! She knows what she is doing! And try everything! Everyone is unique and their addictions (and yours) requires a unique solution! Throw everything you have at this problem. And do not be cynical! Cynicism is not wisdom, it is your addition trying to control you. Your life is worthy it!

Warm Regards,

Kurt Tesnau – Baltimore City Health Department
