The Office of Classification and Compensation oversees fair job classifications and compensation plans. We provide market-competitive compensation that attracts, retains, and motivates employees.

We ensure classifications are appropriately titled and graded by conducting market analyses and surveys. The design, implementation, and revisions of the City’s compensation plans, classification systems, pay structures, job analysis, and evaluation are in line with City, State, and Federal policies and regulations.
