Employee Engagement & Strategic Partnership
Approximately 80% of employees in the United States are disengaged. This has a huge impact on customer experience, the well-being of staff, the quality of services, and the financial health of an organization. In response, the Department of Human Resources created the Office of Engagement and Strategic Partnership to work with agencies to drive employee engagement and leverage DHR resources to support the agencies’ strategic initiatives.
We will achieve this by:
- Offering a robust employee engagement tool that is benchmarked against both public and private organizations
- Working with City agencies to provide timely data and trends and developing customized action plans to improve the engagement of their respective employees
- Continuing to measure and supply targeted support for ongoing improvement
